🕹️ How to Swap Any Face With Your Face Using InsightFace

Midjourney has always had trouble with recreating faces of non-mega celebrities

But I’ve discovered a trick using a combination of both Midjourney + InsightFace to get a very close representation of my face using only 1 photo of me

1) Get Access to Midjourney

You can access a server that already has it like my Discord server, or you can add MJ into your own Discord by following these instructions

2) Install InsightFace

Basically the same process — Follow these instructions to install InsightFace

3) Ensure bots are in your Discord channel

Make sure that both the Midjourney and InsightFaceSwap bots are in the same Discord channel on your Discord server otherwise it won't work

4) Train InsightFace on your face

Luckily we only need 1 good picture of yourself for this

• type /saveid in discord

• upload the best quality picture of yourself

• give it an id name, for example mine was "nickismeta"

5) Upload your image

Upload that same image (or a different one) to the Discord channel by dragging it from your files into the channel, then do the following..

• click it

• right click your image

• go to Copy Link

6) Generate Midjourney image

Now we want to generate a Midjourney image using your picture + a prompt

• /imagine

• paste your image link

• write a prompt after your link

This is what my prompt looks like

7) Choose the image you want

Your generated image will kinda look like you

BUT, we are not done yet!

We need to add the magic sauce

8) Use INSwapper

Once you have your full generated image

• go to the top right and hit the "..."

• go to "Apps"

• then INSwapper

You now have an alternative version of yourself using Midjourney

tl;dr: By integrating Midjourney with InsightFace, you can accurately recreate non-celebrity faces from a single photo, useful for thumbnails, profile photos, memes, and more.
