Today, I’m going to show you the best automation tool for growing your personal brand on Instagram. If you use Instagram for that, you NEED to start using this tool.

🤑 10X Your Engagement With Automations On Instagram

One of the biggest contributors to increasing my engagement and click-through rate on Instagram is DM automations.

Here’s terms you should know:

Engagement = actions viewers take on your video (likes, comments, DMs, etc)
Click-through rate (CTR) = the ratio of clicks per impression/view

You want more engagement and CTR because that tells Instagram that your content is worth pushing out to more people. It’s also great to show to a potential sponsor that your videos can convert to clicks for their product.

The automations that I use are DM automations from Manychat.

Here’s how the automation works:

1. I talk about a product or resource in my video. I tell people to comment a specific word (example: AI)

2. When they comment “AI” the automation DMs them the link to the product/resource from my account

Here’s how you can create this same automation:

Step 1: Get Manychat

Step 2: Create your automation

Go to the top left and click “Automation”

Now you’ll want to choose which automation you want.

“Convert your Instagram Comments into Sales” = for Reels
“Use Instagram Stories to Generate More Leads” = for IG Stories

Choose which one you want. They both work the same

Click “+ New Trigger”

Go to “User Comments on Your Post or Reel”

Now you’ll want to choose your post or Reel.
The post or Reel must be published before you can add it to the automation.

Once you have that, you’ll want to go here and change it to “comment contains specific words”

Then, under keyword you want to include the word you want viewers to comment to get the automated DM.

Make sure to hit save at the bottom

Now you’ll want to go the the “Send Message” module

Now go to the text box in the image below and this is where you’ll type in the DM the automation will send.

Once you have that, click on “+ Add Button”

Then go to “Open website”

Then you want to add the link in to “Website URL”

Hit “Done”

Then once you are ready, hit “Set Live” on the top right

You now have the ability to automate DMs and increase your engagement on Instagram!
