💸 How to Find a Niche That Will Bring Your Profits Long-term

One of the biggest pitfalls content creators fall into is constantly switching niches

Here’s how it goes:

  1. a certain niche starts trending

  2. they create content and a brand around it

  3. the niche starts to slowly lose attention

  4. another niche starts trending

  5. and they drop all the progress to start over again on the new niche

Real example: Crypto —> NFTs —> AI

I’ve seen this happen many times with content creators and have even experienced it myself… multiple times

Why is it important to stick with a niche?

It’s important to stick with a niche because when you decide to switch niche you lose all the momentum you’ve built just to start all over in another saturated niche where other creators have already built authority

Ideally, you want to position yourself in a niche where you actually have passion, true experience, the want to learn, and a unique take on

The only way to get attention where everybody is shouting the same thing is to shout something else

How can I find a niche that I will want to stick with long term?

Well that’s why I created this ChatGPT prompt to help creators

This prompt will

  • help you niche down to a low competition market

  • find a niche that you will stick with long-term

  • find a niche that has high monetization possibilities

  • find a niche that you are truly passionate about

Here is the prompt and how to use it:

  1. Expand and copy the entire prompt below

  2. Fill out the variables in brackets [ ] with your own information

Variables to fill out:

[TOPIC1], [TOPIC2], [TOPIC3], [CONTEXT ABOUT YOURSELF]

If you want a more thorough guide on how to use this prompt, click here

I understand the importance of niche commitment for content creation and business growth and want to ensure that I choose the right target market. I also understand the importance of myself being personally passionate about the niche so I can more easily create content around the subject long-term.

Based on the principle of 'niche slapping,' I want to help me pick one specific audience and fully commit to serving them. I've also included some context about myself personally below which might help you decide this as I understand importance of aligning my personal interests with my content creator goals.

Using the information I provided to you about myself. Can you give me a list of niche's that I would be interested and passionate about when it comes to creating content?

Also guide me through a series of questions or a framework to help me identify that 'sweet spot' of a niche. I would like you to use Alex Hormozi's idea of niche'ing down to help you with this. My interests are broad, and I need to focus and niche down.

Can you guide me through a series of questions or a framework to help me identify that 'sweet spot' of a niche? My interests are broad, but I need to focus and niche down

Present this in a tabular format

I want you to give me a list of Niche, 3 Sub-Niches within that niche, and 3 sub-sub-niches within that. So there should be a total of 3 Sub-Niches within a given niche, then 3 more sub-sub-niches within each Sub-Niche

Here are the topics I am interested in creating content around

    1. [TOPIC 1]
    2. [TOPIC 2]
    3. [TOPIC 3]

Also here is some context about myself personally: [CONTENT ABOUT SELF]

By the end of this you’ll have a niche you are proud to stick with and monetize for your content creation journey

tl;dr: Constantly switching niches erodes your momentum. To succeed long-term, find a niche you're passionate about and stick with it. A structured approach helps identify your ideal niche based on your interests and experience.
