A business idea leveraging Deepshot could be a "personalized video message service." This service could create custom video messages from favorite characters, celebrities, or even from loved ones who might be unable to convey their messages personally due to distance or time constraints

You could use its dialogue generation and lip-sync features to create believable videos of characters or people saying whatever the customer wants, within ethical boundaries. This could be popular for birthdays, anniversaries, or other special occasions

Before considering doing this, I would check with the legality of using someone else likeness with AI like this. Maybe use of AI like this is still in the grey area. There’s a lot of moral/legal issues with DeepFakes. They are going to continue to get more and more realistic to a point where it’s almost unnoticeable

2) Scannable QR Code Art

You can create beautiful artwork that still acts as a scannable QR code

🧪 Walmart Launched Internal Generative AI Testing Tool

Walmart is giving their workers a new tool to play with called ”Walmart GenAI Playground.” This tool is like a sandbox where employees can learn about and experiment with generative AI

They’re setting it up so workers can safely try out different versions of the AI to see how they respond. Sounds like this is very experimental for Walmart and they’ve been very vague about the information they’re giving out on this

I’m just waiting for the AI robot machines that pick the groceries out for you after you’ve added to your cart virtually on your phone

🍺 Is AI Causing Employees To Become Lonely And Prone To Drinking?

A study shows that using AI at work might be making affecting employees well-being negatively. It found that employees using AI could experience high rates of loneliness, insomnia, and heavy drinking

A professor asked questions to 794 workers from four different countries. For the workers in Taiwan, the study found that they felt lonelier after using AI. The loneliness seemed to be connected to them drinking more and sleeping less.

But an HR agent says we should be careful about making these conclusions from one study. She says understanding how people feel at work is complicated

I’ve always wondered how AI will affect us mentally & emotionally. I don’t feel like we are deep enough into AI to see the effects yet

IMO I feel like AI will do more of our work for us. Leaving us more time to do what we want to do. And that could be more time for drinking, sleeping, partying, or reading a book

It’s up to the person to decide how they use that extra time whether it be negative or positive. It’ll be interested to see how people will use the extra time that AI allows us
